Exfoliate 24 hours before. Skin must be clean, dry and free of moisturiser or deodorant.
Circular motions, working from feet upwards. Go lighter on knees, elbows and ankles.
Allow 4–6 hours before showering or swimming so the colour finishes developing.
Moisturise daily. It's the single biggest factor in whether your tan fades evenly.
